The Spire The Spire

The spire has been erected in 2003 as a replacement for the Lord Nelson statue that has been blown away by the IRA in 1966. It is about 120 m high and is made of stainless steel. The base has a diameter of 3 m and narrows to 15 cm at the top. It is located in the O'Connell street.
